Turn 1- The space marines completly kill one squad and made two more squads make a run for it to save their skins. They end the turn by deep striking 1 terminator and a full squad of assault marines. The guardsmen kill 3 of the 5 assault marines. the drednoughts armourments were destroyed when a guardsmen with a flamer hit a soft spot.
Turn 2- The space marines continue to blast guardsmen left and right, nearly killing another squad. the guardsmen fight hard but just don't have the fire power any more to make the space marines keep their distance.
Turn 3- The space marines take the guardsmen down to 14 men. The remaining guardsmen fire everything they have left only killing the final two assault marines.
Turn 4- only 4 guardsmen remain after the space marines let loose another volley of fire.
Turn 5- jon only had to survive the space marine fire for one more turn.
Jon lost by a hair because two of the 8 dice he rolled were not a 5 or a 6.
